Our equestrian designers have developed this parka for intermediate riders! Perfect for your training sessions in cold, wet weather. With its removable hood, our 580 WARM parka is perfect for protecting you from the cold and rain in winter! Slim, flattering cut for greater comfort in the saddle.
Hood
We have designed and improved this jacket so that horse riding remains enjoyable, whatever the weather! The hood is removable and trimmed with synthetic fur.
Remove it before machine washing.
The fur is cleverly tucked into the inside of the hood to stop it getting wet in rainy weather and keep your ears warm.
Adjust the hood depth according to your needs with a rip-tab
Pockets:
In winter, pockets are essential for holding gloves, keys, your mobile and treats for your horse – and of course, for keeping your hands warm.
This jacket has 4 zip pockets:
2 warm front pockets for your hands.
1 hidden inside pocket
1 chest pocket with external access for convenience.
The pockets all have watertight zips to protect your personal belongings from the rain.
Sleeves
The sleeves are pre-shaped and we used a stretch component under the arms for even greater ease.
The comfortable cuffs stay in place to keep out cold air.
wicks perspiration away
Horse riding is a demanding sport that can really make you work up a sweat.
To stay warm and comfortable, you can open the side zips for air circulation to avoid feeling damp and cold.
You can get as much or as little air as you need!
Warmth:
We watched riders in action to design this parka, because how much warmth you need is different depending on the activity (preparation, warm-ups, work, etc.) and the body area. This is why the wadding thickness varies according to the body area for comfort and warmth at all times.
Since we’re all different, you can add a second layer in the event of extreme cold, or to adjust the vents to prevent overheating
Measuring fabric waterproofness
This item has undergone a shower test of 60 litres/m²/hour for 2 hours.
This measures the resistance of a fabric to water pressure expressed in mm of a water column (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The greater the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm can resist the pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water, which is the equivalent of a rainstorm lasting 2 hours.
