Our short girth was designed for dressage riders looking for a flexible, comfortable girth for their dressage horse. Our 100 Short Girth is perfect for working comfortably with your dressage horse. The neoprene material moves with your horse without hindering its movement at the shoulder and elbow.
Our adjustment tips
After purchase, we recommend checking that the shape of the girth suits your horse. It just takes a few simple steps to efficiently check the fit. First, to properly adjust the girth, you need to check the position of the saddle. It should be placed behind the shoulder. Once the saddle is placed correctly, you can check that the forelimbs are free to move by placing a flat hand between your girth and the back of the horse’s elbows.
Care advice
Nothing is simpler than caring for your synthetic girth! We recommend maintaining it regularly using a damp, lukewarm sponge. Even more practical, you can also brush the girth with a dandy brush after your ride. It is important to care for your girth and check that there are no rough patches, cracks, or dirty spots, since they can hurt your horse.
Versatility
This girth was designed for dressage saddles, but it is also suitable for general purpose saddles with short straps. This girth is also comfortable to use with a surcingle.
Easy to pull on
Each girth has two roller buckles for easier mounting and adjustment.
